Operator sees power consumption rising by 1.8%/year until 2028
MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Electric power consumption on Russia's unified energy system may rise by 1.8% on average per year and reach 1.233 trillion kilowatt-hours (kWh) by 2028, System Operator of the Unified Energy Systems said in a statement on Tuesday.
Maximum capacity consumption is expected at 178,700 megawatts, and the growth is forecasted at 1.5% by 2028.
The report did not disclose the 2022 power consumption with the 2021 one estimated at 1.09 trillion kWh, and maximum capacity consumption at 161,400 megawatts.
